Silverware Snake Earrings with Black Glass Beads

These earrings are made from a vintage silver dish which had a beautiful pattern embossed on it. Using various jewellery making techniques I hand cut the shape of a twisted snake and another of a bended snake out of the dish, filed and sanded it to a perfect finish before hanging a faceted black glass bead off the end of its head. They hang off a sterling silver earring hook and all connecting parts are sterling silver.
While they look substantial, they are nice and light and very easy to wear.
